Teva Pharmaceuticals USA has broken ground on its new, 1.2 million square foot warehouse and distribution center in Philadelphia, PA with development and design/build firm J.G. Petrucci Co., Inc.
The $295MM project will create over 200 jobs within three years and retain over 200 existing positions.
Ron Cariola, Managing Director of Jones Lang LaSalle represented JGPCO on this transaction with Teva Pharmaceuticals USA.
The 140-acre site at the Omni Logistics Center, located at One Red Lion Road, Philadelphia, PA, was selected following an exhaustive two-year, three-state site search, which encompassed over 50 potential sites, including ground; build-to-suit, and existing building opportunities, according to Binswanger, which represented Teva in the transaction.
The facility, which will consist of three buildings totaling approximately 1.2 million square feet, will support all of Teva's warehousing and distribution needs in the United States.
